Hi, I'm Yvonne.

I'm a bilingual wedding officiant, a proud Mexicana, a mom to three incredible girls (one at UT Austin, two still keeping me on my toes), and the founder of Blissful & Blessed Unions.

This work isn't something I fell into. It's something very personal that pulled me into celebrating life's greatest moments. I have a deep belief that ceremonies matter, that words spoken out loud carry weight, and that the people standing in front of an officiant deserve someone who is fully and completely present with them.

My path to this work was shaped by my sister and what it meant to say goodbye to her… I unexpectedly lost my older sister in 2023. She was special needs and experienced the world differently. Through her, I learned some of the most important lessons of my life: patience, presence, unconditional love, and the sacred art of slowing down enough to truly see people. Losing her made me stop waiting. It made me build something that honors what actually matters.

Every ceremony I lead carries a piece of her. The way I slow a room down, hold space for grandparents who need a moment to feel it in their language, and make sure the people who are quietly present, experiencing the day in their own way, never feel left out.
Loss and love have taught me that love is patient, that presence matters, and that every person deserves to feel seen and honored exactly as they are.
